 The surviving members of the Beatles are attempting to block the release of previously unreleased recordings of the group recorded in Germany in 1962.

The album entitled  Jammin’ with The Beatles and Friends, Star Club, Hamburg, 1962, includes Paul McCartney performing Lovesick Blues by Hank Williams, and McCartney and John Lennon singing together on Ask Me Why.

Lawyers for the group have claimed the eight tracks were taped without permission, but the company president of Fuego Entertainment insists the recordings were legal and not a ‘bootleg’, as claimed by the Beatles legal representatives.

 The Fuego Entertainment president continued “”It’s unfair to millions of Beatles fans not to allow this recording to be put out. The world deserves to hear these tracks.The fact is that we have it; they don’t, and that is what’s bothering them.”

Microsoft releases Vista update

The computer giant claims that the update improves the stability, security and performance of the software.

The update, or service pack, includes some fixes released before now and adds many new ones as well.

The problem is that the update could clash with some security software and other programs customers may have installed on their computer.
